Hon. Abdirahin Haithar Abdi was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors on 5th July 2022. He is an accomplished businessman with long experience in private and public sector governance. He previously served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Insurance Regulatory Authority, and has been at the helm of several other companies. Hon. Abdi served as a Speaker of the East Africa Legislative Assembly from 2007 until 2012. He was a member of the Assembly from 2001 to 2012. Hon. Abdi holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration (Finance), and a Master of Business Administration. In recognition of his distinguished service to the nation, Hon. Abdi was awarded the Moran of the Order of the Golden Heart on 12th December 2011.
